Poetessa irlandesa.
Amb Yeats i George Moore, fundà el 1899 l’Irish Literary Theatre, i després Abbey Theatre (1904). Publicà estudis folklòrics i peces dramàtiques: Seven Short Plays (1909), The Image (1910). Escriví, a més, Our Irish Theatre (1914).
